Position: Kick Press Operator

Position Description: The Kick Press Operator uses a foot-activated kick press to stamp, form, pleat and extrude parts according to AS9100 quality processes. This work is essential in delivering parts of superior quality to our customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Use a foot-activated kick press to create parts
• Perform designated operations per drawing/work order/purchase order requirements
• Perform quality checks on parts after completed; validate the quality of your work independently and validate individual parts produced against customer specifications.
• Set up and tear down shop resources as needed, and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Due to ITAR requirements, we can only consider American Citizens for this position.
• A minimum of two years of prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must have at least 20/20 vision – with vision correction aides (i.e. glasses, contacts)
• Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen that includes marijuana
• Must be able to remain seated for extended periods
• Must be able to operate shop resources with legs and feet.
• Attention to detail is a must, along with the ability to ignore distractions while working

Position Details:

• Location: Recco Filters, 702 S Main St, Wayland, MI 49348 (equidistant to Grand Rapids & Kalamazoo)
• Classification: Full Time Employee
• Shift: First, 7:00AM - 3:30PM
• Pay: $14.00-$16.00 Per Hour, depending on experience. $0.25 - $0.50 increase after 90 days based on performance.
